We are happy to introduce The Golden Opportunity Scholarship - a scholarship designed to reduce the cost of education for students who aspire to be leaders in business and community.

Application Deadline

Scholarship Award


Up to three winners will be selected and be awarded $500 towards tuition.

Winner Selection


Winners will be selected and notified via email by August 1st, 2018.

Eligibility Requirements


  • Be a current or incoming undergraduate or graduate student
  • Be enrolled in an accredited U.S. college, university, or trade/vocational school
  • Have a current GPA of 3.0 or greater on a 4.0 scale

How to Apply


  1. Download and complete the application.
  2. Answer the following question (400 words max): As a leader, what value do you bring your followers?
  3. Obtain a copy of your current transcript - it can be an an unofficial copy.
  4. Email your application, essay, and transcript to scholarship@goldenopp.net with the subject line:
    • Last Name, First Name - 2018 Golden Opportunity Scholarship
  5. Include the essay question and word count in the email body - NOT as a separate attachment.
  6. Include your application and transcript as an attachment. Please name the files:
    • Last Name, First Name - 2018 Scholarship Application>
    • Last Name, First Name - 2018 Scholarship Transcript
  7. Please follow these directions exactly. Failure to do so may result in us not seeing your application.

By submitting an application to The Golden Opportunity Scholarship, you certify that all the information you have provided is accurate and complete. You agree to transfer all rights and ownership of submitted information to The Golden Opportunity Network, whether or not you are selected as a winner. You also agree that your name, photo, essay response, and award amount may be used in announcements or articles (i.e. social media, newsletter, etc) issued by The Golden Opportunity Network.

No purchase is necessary for submitting an entry or for winning. The selection of winners is entirely at the discretion of The Golden Opportunity Network. Winners will be contacted via the email address that was used to submit the application. Scholarship recipients must verify their enrollment in an accredited US college, university or graduate school within 30 calendar days by submitting either a letter of proof from the admissions office or a current tuition statement. All scholarship payments will be made directly to the institution to be used towards tuition. In the event a winner cannot prove their enrollment to an accredited US college, university or graduate school, The Golden Opportunity Network will retract the award for that recipient.
